History of Sutton Court Farm
Dating back to at least the 16th century, although there was almost certainly a building on this site from Norman times, the house is a classic timbered framed tudor dwelling. Relaxing in the Guests’ garden with a glass of wine is the perfect way to soak up the atmosphere of those vanished times. The cottages are arranged around a courtyard adjoining the house and were converted from the old farm buildings and stables in 1987. We bought them along with the main house in May 2017, and were completely refurbished in 2018. We’re sure you’ll find that the cottages provide a comfortable, stylish and homely base from which to explore Ludlow and the Shropshire Hills AONB. Check our availability here.
